OUR STUDIO
WHERE CINCO BEGINS.
CINCO's studio is based in Coimbra, in the centre of Portugal. It is where our collections begin — where ideas are developed, proportions considered, materials selected and pieces refined before becoming part of a collection.
Our studio is both a creative workspace and the physical home of CINCO.
DESIGNED AND MADE IN PORTUGAL
Every CINCO piece is designed and made in Portugal.
Much of our jewelry is produced within approximately 30 km of our Coimbra studio, in Portugal's Central Region. Selected pieces are made by specialist workshops in Northern Portugal.
Keeping production close allows us to work directly with the people making our jewelry, follow development closely and maintain the level of execution, finishing and quality we expect from every CINCO piece.
FROM IDEA TO OBJECT
A CINCO piece starts with an idea, but design continues long after the first drawing.
Proportion, scale, weight, movement, closure, materials and how a piece sits on the body are considered throughout development.
Prototypes allow us to adjust and refine each design before reaching the final piece.
The objective is simple: jewelry that feels considered from every angle.

Portugal has a longstanding tradition of jewelry and goldsmithing, supported by generations of specialized technical knowledge.
CINCO works within this Portuguese ecosystem of skilled makers and specialist workshops, combining established expertise with our contemporary approach to design.
From forming and soldering to stone setting, polishing and finishing, specialist skills contribute to the quality of the final piece.

A design is not finished simply because it has taken shape.
Surfaces, edges, soldering, settings, closures, polishing and the way each component comes together all influence the final result.
This attention to finishing is fundamental to CINCO's approach to quality.

From our showroom in Coimbra to the Portuguese workshops that make our pieces, CINCO is built around proximity, specialized knowledge and a shared attention to how jewelry should look, feel and last.
The same attention to detail that defines CINCO's jewelry shaped the studio itself, designed by architects João Branco + Paula del Río. The showroom was conceived as a space of simplicity and emptiness, organized in two parts connected by an enclosed stair, with furniture and jewelry showcases standing free within it.
