When AD España came to photograph our Coimbra apartment — the one now affectionately called the “Butter-Yellow Home” — I realized how much this space carries the same essence that shaped CINCO. It’s not designed for perfection. It’s designed for life.
The yellow isn’t bold. It’s soft, almost edible — a tone that changes with the light and with time. It feels human, imperfect, alive. Every surface and material — from the textured walls to the linen curtains and the cool weight of stone — tells a story about restraint and comfort. This is what I’ve always loved about design: when form and feeling are inseparable.
Much like our jewelry, this house was built slowly, intentionally. It took patience to find balance — between function and beauty, warmth and silence. There’s nothing overly designed here. Just proportion, air, and emotion. To see it featured in AD España feels like seeing a part of CINCO in another language: still minimal, still rooted in Portugal, but with a glow that belongs to home.
In truth, the house and CINCO share the same foundation: proportion, light, and emotion. Whether it’s a necklace, an earring, or the curve of a wall, the goal is the same — to create something that feels intimate and timeless, crafted with care, meant to last.
