WARRANTY

Under our warranty, we are always with you.

Every CINCO piece is designed and handmade in Portugal by skilled jewelers carrying generations of craft. We use responsibly sourced materials and apply rigorous quality controls at every stage of production — because we make pieces that are built to last.

We are so confident in our quality that every CINCO piece comes with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers manufacturing defects that manifest within 3 years from the date of delivery. If your piece presents a defect originating in its production, we will assess it and offer a repair, replacement, or store credit as appropriate.

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at customer@cinco-store.com with your order number and photos of the piece. The item must be available for physical inspection by our team — without the piece, we are unable to assess the claim.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

• Loss of a piece, regardless of the circumstances
• Scratches, dents, or changes resulting from normal wear and tear
• Clasp misalignment or adjustment resulting from regular use — articulated mechanisms in earrings, necklaces, and bracelets may shift slightly over time due to the natural malleability of fine metals; this is an expected characteristic of fine jewelry, not a manufacturing defect
• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper storage
• Fading of gold plating over time (see below)
• Any modification, repair, or resizing carried out by a third party outside of CINCO — this voids any warranty claim
• Any other damage, condition, or circumstance that is not attributable to a manufacturing defect

GOLD PLATING

CINCO cannot guarantee that gold plating will last indefinitely. Gold-plated finishes are susceptible to fading over time, at a rate influenced by factors such as skin pH, perspiration, and exposure to chemicals. This is a characteristic of the finish, not a defect. Proper care significantly extends the life of your pieces.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY

To keep your CINCO pieces in perfect condition:

• Avoid exposure to perfumes, cosmetics, and chemical products
• Remove jewelry before bathing, swimming, or contact with chlorine, saltwater, or sand
• Take pieces off before exercise or physical activity
• Do not wear jewelry while sleeping
• Store in a cool, dry place, individually, to avoid tangling or scratching
• Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight
